We strongly recommend that you get a regular tourist visa.
To get a tourist visa you will need a tourist invitation and a tourist voucher. You can get these documents from any travel agency in your city (or country) that works with flights to the Ukraine.
If you cannot find a travel agency that works with flights to the Ukraine, we can help you get a tourist invitation and a tourist voucher through a travel agency here in Kiev.
To get the invitation we will need the next information:
- Passport scanned copy
- Duration of stay in Kiev
- Hotel to stay in Kiev (the one you will choose when you registrate)
- Country you are going to apply for visa
- How to send the invitation - by FAX or MAIL: REGULAR (costs about 10 USD, takes 2-4 weeks to deliver) or DHL (costs 50-100 USD, takes 2-4 working days to deliver).
- Retuned address (including ZIP CODE, TEL, CONTACT PERSON).
It usually costs about 50 USD to get an invitation from a tourist agency sent to you by regular mail. The original visa support application letter can be sent to the required address by DHL at the expense of the applicant (50-100 USD depends on country).
* The dates of stay in the country indicated in the letter of invitation are determined by the dates of your hotel reservation.
A copy of your visa support letter can be sent to your personal fax or to the fax of the Ukrainian Consulate in the country where the visa is to be obtained within 24 hours Monday - Friday. It will be necessary to check with the Ukrainian Consulate if they accept copies of letters of invitation or only originals.
Applicants are advised to apply well in advance as not all consulates offer same day services and the process of getting a visa may take up to 3 weeks.
